SMS Opt-In Process – Technology Made Simple

This page provides a public demonstration of how customers opt in to receive SMS communications from Technology Made Simple. This is shown for A2P 10DLC compliance and verification purposes.

Request Service (Example Opt-In Form)

How the Opt-In Process Works

  1. Customers visit our website to request service.
  2. Customers enter their contact information, including their mobile phone number.
  3. Customers must check the consent box (unchecked by default) to agree to receive SMS communications.
  4. Consent is not required as a condition of purchase.
  5. The form is submitted only after explicit consent is provided.

All consent records, including timestamp and IP address, are securely stored in our CRM system.

Opt-In Method #2: Customer-Initiated SMS

Customers may also opt in by initiating contact via SMS.

  1. A customer sends a message to our business phone number.
  2. The customer receives an automated response that includes:
    • Identification of Technology Made Simple
    • Description of message types (service-related notifications)
    • Message frequency disclosure
    • “Message and data rates may apply” notice
    • Instructions to reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance
  3. The customer must reply YES to confirm consent before receiving further SMS communications.

No messages are sent beyond the initial disclosure until consent is confirmed.

Message Types

Customers who opt in may receive the following types of SMS messages:

  • Appointment confirmations
  • Technician arrival notifications
  • Service updates and job status notifications
  • Invoice and billing notifications

These messages are strictly transactional and service-related. No promotional or marketing messages are sent.
